Your privacy at skzn

skzn is operated by Symph, Inc. We use your information to find relevant card offers, remember your preferences and help you track savings. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

Information we use

We use your account information, the card products you select, your preferences, offers you interact with, and purchase amounts you choose to record. We also receive subscription status and billing information needed to manage your access.

We never ask for credit-card numbers, CVVs, card expiry dates, bank statements or bank balances. skzn does not connect to your bank. Savings are calculated from amounts you enter, not your bank transaction history.

Location and notifications

If you allow location access, skzn uses your location to find nearby offers. Optional nearby-branch alerts can use your location while the app is in the background. We do not upload your location history. You can turn off location and notifications in your device settings.

Personalization and optional analytics

skzn uses your preferences and deal interactions to improve recommendations. Account restore is enabled by default and saves a recommendation summary, along with basic information about how well recommendations work. You can disable restore or reset this information in Recommendation preferences.

Personalization is part of skzn. Google Gemini receives recent deal interactions and your stated preferences in periodic batches to help tailor recommendations. This does not include your email, card numbers or precise location. Resetting recommendation preferences clears the saved analysis and related interaction data. Personalization then learns from new activity.

Optional usage analytics is off by default. If enabled, PostHog receives deal interactions, selected card products, merchants, reported spending and calculated savings under an account identifier. It does not receive card numbers, precise location, free-text entries or screen recordings. You can turn it off in Recommendation preferences. Turning it off stops future collection but does not erase information already collected.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate accounts, store information and deliver app features. Apple processes subscriptions, and RevenueCat helps us manage subscription access and billing status. Billing information can include transaction identifiers, amounts, currencies, dates and refunds. Personalization and optional analytics use the providers described above.

How long we keep information

We keep your saved account information and recorded savings while you use the service, subject to your deletion choices. Recent recommendation interactions are kept for up to 90 days; basic recommendation diagnostics are kept for up to 30 days. A manually selected area stays on your device until you clear it.

Deleting your account requests removal of your account data and savings history within seven days. It also requests deletion of optional analytics data held by PostHog, which processes those requests separately. Changes made while offline take effect with our services when you reconnect. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Your choices and rights

You can change your recommendation preferences and optional analytics settings, reset recommendation information, or request account deletion in skzn Settings. You can also contact us to request a copy of your personal information or ask us to correct it. Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you may raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission.

Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, email skzn@symph.co. We aim to respond within five working days. Please do not include card numbers, CVVs or bank statements.
